Golf Simulator at home? Yes, please!

Your Own Home-Based Golf Simulator Club?

One of the newer trends in golf is the opening of Golf Simulator clubs – private or pay-by-the-hour, where you can grab a drink, catch up with friends, and hit balls. Some offer lessons from a PGA Teaching Pro, others are more casual with a focus on a “night out” instead of improving your golf game. Regardless, if you live in a metro area, chances are pretty good that you’ve been to a golf simulator club like I’m talking about.

So, here’s a thought – how about teeing up your own in-home golf simulator where you can do all of the above (yup – even those golf lessons I mentioned ... but we will get to that later) but in your own house, where your favorite beer is a whole lot cheaper.

When you think about “virtual golf”, get your head well past the days of Wii golf or golf games you’re used to playing on your favorite video game console. I’m talking about courses you know and dream of playing, accurate shot data that you can use if you’re working on improving your game (keeping those season-long gains, anyone??), and being able to play with your favorite foursome even if you’re across the country (or the globe) from one another.

OptiShot Golf In A Box 4

Virtual Golf’s Growing Community

Golf Simulation has introduced the game to countless people around the world that never would have had access because of the incredible technology and ability to set up in spaces as common as a family room, garage, or basement.

What we LOVE is what we’re finding a lot of golfers don’t even realize is possible. Here at OptiShot Golf, our golf simulators are affordable, super easy to set up (literally my 14 year old put our Golf in a Box projector and screen up himself because he just couldn’t wait to have it up and running and you know I was taking way too long for that), and has accurate data. The best part is that you can start playing right away and only need enough room to safely swing a club. My personal tip is also finding a space where you don’t mind everyone hanging out because a golf simulator is a natural people-magnet (similar to your kitchen during a holiday party … what IS that?!).

So, here’s what we’re doing: You love golf. We love golf. You want to play more golf. Hey, now! We have a way for you to do that. And we want to help educate those who don’t quite ‘get’ the simulator world just yet. So -stick with us. We’re going to be talking with teaching pros on golf lessons and swing tips, we’ll get into some golf tournaments online, and have a couple of fun golf competitions over the course of the next year. 2022 is going to be all about improving your game and we’re going to be with you every step of the way.

Stay tuned, golf fans. It’s going to be a fun ride.

xx- Aly
