Founded in 1878 with only 5 holes, Royal Troon has hosted The Open Championship 8 times and will once again be the host for 2016.
This course will truly challenge your golfing ability, with hidden bunkers around every turn. On hole #6 you will find one of the longest par 5’s, at 601 yards, a bogie is a tough trial for any golfer. #8, known as the “postage stamp,” is a par 3, but you will need an accurate shot to hit the 420 square foot green.
They may not allow you to wear shorts on their course, but feel free to wear a kilt or whatever you would like while playing this rendition of Royal Troon in the comfort of your own home.
